Bonjour mes amies. Je suis tres excite pour travaille au Montreal ce moi-ci! I'm starting to get excited travel jitters for my and Justin's trip to Quebec at the end of the month. I have not been brushing up on my french like I should be. In fact, I'm sure there's about 10 things wrong with the sentence above. Sadly, I've taken french for about 7 or 8 years... Needless to stay, I still love the culture. I'm a big fan of the architecture of a city, that's what makes it unique before you meet the inhabitants. Old Montreal has some of the greatest and prettiest views in the world, according to myself. Justin is bummed that he can't bring his bike with him, since that's his way of sight-seeing. But we'll get lots of walking in instead and that alone will probably make me lose 50 pounds! Sself-proclaimed couch potato doesn't benefit here. And lastly, I don't care if we sleep in everyday, I will not be deprived of delicious lattes that are true to their french name.

Wishlist: Conscious Collection

I can only do so much online window-shopping while my boyfriend watches "Canada's Handyman." I am not a handy-woman, ok. Therefore I perused the internet like I do whenever I'm bored, and stumbled upon H&M's new line - the "Conscious Collection." It is surprisingly SO my style, not that I need any more pieces to be added to my wardrobe before I resume working this summer. These are some top picks that I cannot get over! I got all these from my iphone H&M app, but you can find the collection online HERE!

Thrift Finds!

Follow @caraallover I had probably one of the best times thrifting the other day. My bestie and I spent the day gallivanting across Guelph for all our favourite second-hand places. I found a plastic storage shelving unit that I didn't know I needed until I saw it. Isn't that what all great shopping consists of? But really, I needed it. My bedroom is a tornado. Also, there is a store downtown that isn't exactly a thrift store, but sells their other chain's damaged or outdated stock for cheap. I got all the following pieces (except the white skirt, but that was 60% off) for under $5! What? That's too good to be true. I know it is. But wipe the sleep from your eyes because this is real life. Anyway, can't wait to wear these awesome finds!

Hipstamatic Part 2!

 I apologize my obsession with this app. It's seriously cool. I get a rush of excitement every time I've finished a roll and get to look at all the unique effects my photo. And I will not be convinced it's an outdated technology! I just won't!

Anyway. Here are a few of my favourites from my second bout with this app. I'm starting to realize my life's not that interesting as I'm trying to find stuff to take pictures of...oh well! Life is beautiful. Enjoy :)

Hipstamatic!

Follow @caraallover The name says it all. It called to me. It was made for me. I would marry it if I could. Getting carried away...however the Hipstamatic Disposable app is seriously great. It's a photography app for iPhone that lets you use a virtual film camera with really neat effects. I've been fighting with critics for a few days now about how it does not let you view your pictures until your "roll of 24" photos are taken. However, I think it's a small price to pay and is super cool. The app comes with 2 standard virtual disposable cameras and allows you to purchase others with varying effects. Here are some of my favourites :) They are perfectly imperfect. And that's exactly the way I like it!
