More Travel Pics!

You're probably sick of them by now, but here are a few more. I can't help it, Montreal is just such a beautiful city! I couldn't help playing with my Analog program with them too, to make them look extra special. I want to paint you a picture: right now I'm sitting in my backyard. It's finally sunny and warm enough to strip down to short-shorts and get my tan on. I also had a lovely morning having a coffee date out with Daddy who was in town! Albeit, I had to wake up super early to see him, but it was worth it. Nothing makes my day start happier than an iced coffee. It's literally my favourite thing in the universe. Literally. *Sidenote* is it weird that when I'm nearing the end of my store-bought coffee drink I immediately dash to my kitchen and make a new batch? I feel as though a normal human being would consume one giant coffee and be satisfied. Nope, not me. Anyway, hope y'all are having a lovely Friday! Now, back to my sketching in the sunshine :)

Travel Instas - Quebec!

I'm back! And I'm surprisingly happier about that than I thought I would be. But I'm very relieved to be back in my own province where I know the language and the street signs. Montreal was beautiful, decent weather, and amazing food (as you can see below). The one thing we didn't anticipate, however, was clouds of students rioting for their tuition fees on every corner. That isn't so bad, but when coupled with riot police, buses upon buses of security, and even a few RCMP, it's not the most "relaxing" atmosphere for a vacation. But we made it out alive, and all I can say is - an experience is an experience, you learn something from every one! We learned you can't predict what will happen no matter how hard you try to control the details. I think we'll wait a little bit before going back ;)
In the meantime, enjoy these cool instagram photos from the trip! :)

Spring in Canada?

Spring? What's that? I'm not trusting the groundhog just yet when I've been ploughing through snow all day today. But that's alright, I know of a few people who have yet to put their ski hill passes to full use this season. Today will be a relaxing day since I'm feeling a bit under the weather, but first snuck in a delicious breakfast with my bestie @ McDonald's. Seriously, buttermilk biscuits = revolutionary. Anyway, my mom passed down this super cozy denim shirt to me today, and couldn't pass up the opportunity to share this awesome find with the world. Thanks momma!
