Golly, I've been tripping heels over head lately for ModCloth's bags and purses lately. I definitely don't generally spend a great deal of money on one item, but I feel as though a purse is something worth an investment. I would love a new travel bag, really, one that I can take to class, bring on the bus, on road trips, shopping, and lunch with girlfriends. So I'd like a purse equivalent to the purpose of an "everything bagel," I suppose. These are some I'm salivating over, but I'm really leaning towards the Travel Bright bag :) It seems to simple and would match with so much. I'm a neutral geek when it comes to bags, though you couldn't tell at all from these ;) What are your favorites?!

The articles of clothing I am about to show you are so delicious that I licked my computer. Weird? It's ok, I was just joking. But Modcloth created these summer-y themed clothes and I'm head over heels.  I'm sure my Mom would make fun of me for wearing ice cream cones on myself. I haven't done that since I actually wore ice cream on myself. Like as a child. You know - we all get too excited and it melts down our arms...don't judge. Finally Friday! Well, I guess I can't really say that since I don't technically have a "work week" to be celebrating the end of. I've basically just spent my week at home eating muffins. Anyway. I've finally gotten to wear to my booooootiful trench coat from ModCloth that I have been worshipping the beauty of for a few months as it hung in my closet. I'm just hanging out in my living room with some coffee, procrastinating, etc. I'm trying insanely hard not to get sick as my brother has strep (for the second time in a row) and now my boyfriend is also sick. He NEVER gets sick. What is happening?!?! I'm pretty excited for tomorrow night - I'm seeing my girl Jelly's band play downtown Guelph! I can't wait! I haven't seen her in forever (even though she goes to school in Toronto too...) and it'll be fun to let loose at a rock show of course. Happy Friday! And resist urge to sing Rebecca Black all day long.

Follow @caraallover Hey y'all, thought I'd share some pics of my residence's formal dance last saturday. I'm also procrastinating essays, and trying to avoid the inferno that is my bedroom. They haven't changed the heating over to A/C yet in my dorm :( Anyway, I don't have many photos (forgot my cam at home that day!) but I think what I scrounged up it pretty cute. My dress was a beautiful dress I snagged from a contest way back by ModCloth, aka my dream store. And I couldn't have felt prettier :) or taller..but that's because Justin insisted I wasn't too tall for heels. I beg to differ...

I was feeling bored Saturday night while waiting for my friends to be ready and thought I'd fidget with my new photo-editing software, Analog. It has got some crazy cool features - anywhere from instant photo looks, to imperfect film, to classy black and white. It also has cool frames to put spice up your photo, sort of like the iPhone application Instagram does with it's funky polaroid borders. Check it out - under $10 in the Mac App Store! :)

New Room

I have been craving re-doing my room lately with a couple simple things to spice it up. #1 is finding a better place to display all my cameras, and I'm in LOVE with this photo idea that I saw on Kinsey Mhire's blog. Also in love with these rose string lights from ModCloth, my room could use a little ambiance! Lastly I'm dying to fit a desk into my room to make it a little more functional, like my current dorm room. But I feel I have so many things and not enough space, so I'm trying to find the perfect storage systems. Being an English major means I have acquired more novels for my courses than I've ever read in my lifetime and need the organization.
